Wasn't there a guy by the name of Jouchen (? my spelling)on this site
one time, who planted a box somewhere in Europe. Sorry I can't
remember. I have read too many archive posts. You can do the research
yourself. I hope you get lucky and find that the box in Europe is
near Geneva. If not then have fun planting one.

Sorry, I went back to try one more time. This time I typed in Jochen(
I spelled it Jouchen in first post) into the search on this site and
found Jochen. Kastner. He planted a letterbox in Germany. I did state
that I had read a lot of the archives. As to your questions maybe
someone else can help you. Have fun.

I grew up in Germany and if I had known about letterboxing back
then, you better believe that I would have placed boxes along the
way. I also spent time in Asia a few years ago and I would have
done the same there. There may be a possibility that we will move
to Europe or Asia in the future (next couple of years) and I
definitely will place letterboxes when I go. I just hope, that
before that time--if it ever were to come, that others who also
share such a similar passion for the sport will start placing boxes
in their own areas which might, in turn, encourage others to get
involved and place boxes in their neat and interesting locations.
What a fantastic sport!!!
